July wish list

I've been selling some items on eBay, so now I've got some cash to spend (for the first time in forever, it seems). When I've got some money to spend on whatever I want, I suddenly get very anal about it. Or maybe I'm being hard on myself. You copy the pictures of what you want and make a PowerPoint presentation with images and costs and links, right? I'm like some kind of fashion accountant or something. I'm very sad. But, with all the auctioning and planning and PowerPointing, it's still not too late to take advantage of the sales, so July's wishlist is full of sale items that would see me through into autumn.

I can never have too many cardigans, and I love the sequin detail on this one by Juicy Couture at Net-a-Porter. It's a cotton blend, but it will be warm enough to wear once the weather starts to get chilly.
To date, I've never invested in a classic LBD - this one by Diane von Furstenberg at Matches could be dressed up or down, in whatever weather. It's all about the accessories. My love of scarves and general neck furnishings seems to increase daily. This interesting collar by Fernanda Pereira would look great with A/W's ubiquitous ladylike look, or with a classic camel coat. Available from Far Fetch.Yes, camel and all other shades of beige will be back in a big way for A/W, and it's a safe way to splurge, as it never seems to go away completely. This bangle by Marni at Net-a-Porter is beautiful, classic, and strikes me as a perfect summer to autumn item.As is this silk/cashmere kaftan by Madeleine Thompson. I'll be on a long haul flight at Christmas this year, and I am already fantasizing about wearing this on the plane. Available from My-Wardrobe.The brogue trend seems to be holding on, which makes me very happy, as I love masculine tailoring/design for women. These ones by Strategia are available at Luisa Via Roma in blue or cognac.

  1. Love this blog, came across it in my lunch hour! A new Glasgow Style Mile iPhone App was launched this week - there's a lot of offers on it and I'm guessing there's more to come as it has just been released - it's a must for all shopping lovers in Glasgow I think. You can download it here: http://www.glasgowstylemile.com/style-mile-app/. The website itself it just as handy!

I was looking online for lehenga choli and came across the site www.kaneesha.com and I was astonished to see their collection and ended up purchasing one exclusive designed choli skirt. I will highly recommend this site.
