Drive in Movies

I've always wanted to go to a drive-in movie. They started closing down just in the US just before I was old enough to go to them. By the time I was in high school, the multiplex had arrived, and no one else could compete with cinemas that offered 10 or more screens.

Thank you Itison for giving me the opportunity to finally getting to have the drive in experience. They are putting on films in Victoria Park for my favourite holiday - Halloween. We've just bought tickets for the early evening showing on the 31st of October - Ghostbusters. This earlier showing is designed for families, with in-car trick or treating before the show, and food from the Street Food Cartel will be available to buy. If we didn't have the wean, we would be going to the late night showing, which is Halloween. A classic, and a perfect choice considering what a throw back to the 70s a drive in movie is.

Tickets are £25 and cover the car, driver, plus up to four passengers. Full details can be found on the Itison website.

When I was searching the web to get more info, I realised that there are also drive in movies at Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell in the run up to Halloween - two films a night from the 26th to the 28th of October. All I needed was one drive in experience, but here is an embarrassment of riches.
